What Are the Rules for Parking?
The public parking spaces are for guests and visitors only. Please park in your garage or on your own driveway and leave the visitor spaces for visitors. We have just 52 guest/visitor spaces for 130 houses. There is a parking policy in place and we ensure it is being enforced consistently. It is your responsibility to inform your family members, guests, and renters of the policy.
We have contracted with Dominion Towing to handle any towing services in our community. Their website is dominiontowing.com and their phone number is (703) 730-1177.
Double parking, also known as tandem parking, in driveways is not allowed and may result in towing.

How do I get a key for the tennis court?
Owners may receive a key for the tennis court by providing a $25 deposit by check made out to “Windsor Mews HOA”. Please email the board (hoaboard@windsormews.org) to arrange a time for us to drop off the key and pick up the check. If you’ve lost your key or need another one the deposit amount will be increased.
04
Who is responsible for tree maintenance?
The HOA is responsible for maintaining the trees and landscaping in the common areas, while owners are responsible for maintaining the trees on their property.
05
Are the HOA Board and FirstService Residential the same?
No. The Board consists of owners in the neighborhood elected by their fellow owners at the Annual Meeting who are responsible for the common areas and execution of the association bylaws.
FirstService Residential is the management company the Board uses to manage dues collection, vendor payments, and other financial matters.
While FirstService Residential manages these items, all decisions with how the Association funds are budgeted and spent reside with the Board.

When are trash and recycling collected?
Trash is collected two (2) times per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Recycling is collected one (1) time per week, on Wednesdays.
While it’s impossible to guarantee an exact pickup time because the amount of trash varies each day, in general, services are between 6am – 9am.
Our waste removal company, Champion Services, operates on a delayed schedule following certain holidays or inclement weather. For the holiday schedule or other notices, please visit their website (https://www.cswaste.com/).
Trash and recycling should be placed at the curb no earlier than 5pm the day before service. All trash and recycling must be placed in containers, not left in bags on the curb. In addition to improving the appearance of the community, this prevents the attraction of rodents and birds. Containers should be stored in an inconspicuous location when not set out at the curbside.
Branches and other yard waste must be broken down and set out in paper yard waste bags, to be collected with the trash. For more information on recycling in Fairfax County, including what can be picked up at the curb, please visit the county’s trash and recycling site (http://fairfaxcounty.gov/publicworks/recycling-and-trash).
